S <sub>N</sub> Ar Isocyanide Diversification

چکیده
Isocyanides are important building blocks in organic synthesis; however, their synthesis is time and resource consuming often unpleasant due to smelly nature. Diversification of isocyanides can be accomplished by de novo or from already existing isocyanides. In this work, we report for the first-time isocyanide diversification based on nucleophilic aromatic substitution suitable precursor The mild conditions allow easy access multiple novel useful synthesis. resulting solid non-noxious, yet react nicely multicomponent reactions.

The phenyl isocyanide ligand is in the basal position and trans to the S atoms of the propane-dithiol-ate ligand due to steric hindrance. The crystal structure features C-H⋯O inter-actions.
